Jo Paterson is a Research & Scholarly Communication Librarian at Western University Libraries, where she supports researchers across the scholarly publishing lifecycle, with particular expertise in open access, researcher identifiers, and metadata. She holds degrees in music history, humanities, and information and library science, and brings a humanities-driven approach to digital scholarship and research infrastructure. Her professional interests include ORCID and persistent identifiers, research information management systems, and the intersection of book history, digital humanities, and publishing technologies. Outside the library, she is an active musician and genealogist, often blending creative practice with scholarly inquiry.
